Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible.
Have you ever looked at pattern and thought I would never finish that, but bought it any way? Well I did. I saw Just Nan's Twilight Pearls Leaf Ball pattern and fell in love with it. I really never thought I would even start it much well figure out how it came together. The pattern called for green and lavender linen, and me not being a purple person I put it aside. While on a trip to Florida in January I was out exploring cross stitch shops and came upon some light pink linen that just spoke to me. When I returned home I gave my not so sure pattern a try. The stitching was a lot easier than I had expected and putting it together was a little time consuming but fun.
Here is the 36 pieces all stitched. Now all I need is to sew them together!
My husband is always so supportive of my cross stitch projects. When I finished this he said that's nice but what is it. I said a ball, and he said yes but what's it purpose. I said just to be pretty. Yet I love him anyway.
Always keep love in your stitches,
Teresa

Great finish Teresa!
I think your ball is beautiful.
I am in the same position, wondering if I can make a tissue case I bought. You have been my inspiration to finally give it a go. Thank you.
Wow , it's beautiful. Well done .X
Beautiful Teresa! So happy you are in blogland. My husband is also bery supportive but has asked that very same question. My response was "Not everything has to have a purpose" I love the Flower Ball, is the Snow Ball next??
I just saw this at my LNS today finished! It's so pretty!!!
That's lovely! I was at Stitcher's Hideaway last weekend, and someone brought in a very similar finish (perhaps it was the same one, just on different fabric). It's such a unique shape. :)
I love this piece. So pretty!
OH-WOW! Amazing Teresa! You did a fabulous job. It's funny what we can do when we try ;o)
That is amazing Teresa, beautifully stitched and put together :)
Wow! That piece is one of my favourites but I am a little afraid of all the pieces. Congrats to you to stitching them all together and creating something stunning!
PS, husbands are the best supporters but often don't understand the purpose of why we stitch anything else that doesn't sit in a frame!
I am working on the Snow Ball now and it's really fun so far, still stitching the 36 pieces. I love yours, what an inspiration! -Karen
